SCOS Olympics
Selected pupils had a wonderful day on Wednesday at the Smethwick Schools Olympic Games. They had the opportunity to try out a number of different sports, such as ball skills, Frisbee, hockey and tennis. They participated alongside 60 pupils from different mainstream primary schools. All pupils received a medal at the end of the day and a cup which is displayed in the school’s trophy cabinet. All the pupils who attended were a credit to the school. Thank you to the staff who supported the visit and Andrew Dickinson, the Head at Uplands Primary School who organised the event along with West Bromwich Albion Academy.
